Position Overview

The Cath Lab RN plays a critical role in the healthcare team, focusing on patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This position requires a strong background in critical care and specialized training in catheterization and electrophysiology.

Qualifications
  • Licensure and Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either an ADN or BSN.
  • Experience: Prior experience in Cath Lab or Electrophysiology monitoring is preferred.
  • Patient Care: Manage an average of 30 cases daily, including STEMI, NSTEMI, Ablations, and various cardiac procedures.
Work Environment

The Cath Lab consists of 21 bays for pre/post-operative care, 6 procedure rooms for catheterization, and 3 electrophysiology rooms, all located on a dedicated floor.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $29 to $43.50, with additional call pay.
  • Retention Package: A total of $20,000 for a two-year commitment, distributed as follows:
    • $5,000 in the first paycheck
    • $5,000 at the end of the first year
    • $10,000 at the end of the second year
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 available for eligible candidates.
Work Schedule

Shifts are available for both day and night, with potential for extended hours based on patient flow. On-call requirements include weekday evenings and weekends.

Team Structure

The reporting hierarchy includes Charge Nurse, Shift Coordinator, Manager, and Director, ensuring a supportive environment for professional growth.

This role is essential for delivering high-quality cardiac care and improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
