Job Summary

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and performing diagnostic radiology procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safety of patients, staff, and yourself while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, adhering to all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety.

Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.

Assist patients during exams, positioning them correctly and ensuring their safety.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification.

Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Bone Density certification preferred within 6 months of hire, if applicable.
