Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Class Regional to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the type of cargo being transported
  • At least 9 months of experience as a Class A CDL truck driver in the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience in the past 5 years, or 5 years of experience in the past 10 years
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
