Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurotechnologist III to join our team. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic department, you will be responsible for performing electroneurodiagnostic testing in nerve conductions, Electroencephalograms, and Evoked Potentials.

• Utilize industry guidelines to perform neurological procedures independently and completely on all ages.
• Greet patients and explain testing procedures to them.
• Facilitate all aspects of study completion, including taking patient history, necessary paperwork, charging, clipping, and archiving.
• Troubleshoot equipment and inventory supplies.
• Knowledge of the diagnostic span and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.
• Demonstrate and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
• Maintain knowledge of current practices and techniques as recommended.
• Takes call as needed and responds in a timely manner.
• Serves as an educator/preceptor for staff and students as applicable.
• Able to independently assist neurologists with brain mapping as assigned.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA-accredited training program in Electroencephalographic Technology, Electrodiagnostics, or Electroneurodiagnostics field.
• Three (3) years clinical experience in the electroneurodiagnostic field and successful demonstration of electroneurodiagnostic clinical competencies may substitute for training program (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
• Registration by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET), CMET, or American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (REEGT, CMET, REPT, REDT/RNCST) required.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.

Three (3) years clinical experience in the Neurodiagnostic field.
