Job Summary

As a key member of our resort operations team, the Engineering Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this individual will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of subordinate maintenance personnel, as well as overseeing all daily operations of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Direct and coordinate the work of subordinate maintenance personnel
  • Oversee daily operations of all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, including electrical systems, appliances, and plumbing fixtures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college or technical training preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, with a focus on hospitality or resort operations
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
