Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team at Synergis. As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and repair services to our clients in the analytical instrumentation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to multiple sites within a specified region to provide on-site services including troubleshooting, hardware repair, and software installation.
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations.
  • Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics and/or chemistry or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a field engineer supporting analytical instrumentation products, with 80% of that support being hardware focused.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and electronics.
  • Ability to follow detailed technical instruction sets.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor with tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $47/hr. to $60/hr. (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k, and commuter benefits.
