Job Title: Licensed Optician

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at Lenscrafters. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert optical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with customers, setting clear expectations and providing personalized service.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Utilize technology effectively, despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and tool usage.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and competing priorities with ease.
  • Strive for exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies, taking pride in store appearance and maintaining a clean, attractive, and organized environment.
  • Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Embody a resourceful, self-motivated attitude, with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and retail experience.
