Position Overview:

As a Family Support Specialist, you will engage with children, adolescents, and families throughout the community, collaborating closely with local child welfare services.

Your role will involve reaching out to individual parents within a specified timeframe following a referral. You will utilize recognized assessment tools to create tailored educational plans grounded in the Nurturing Parenting Evidence-Based Curriculum for each parent within the initial service period.

When feasible, you will observe the dynamics between parents and their children, following guidance from supervisors and referral sources, while ensuring that all necessary program materials are maintained for each family.

Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and finalizing essential documentation, including case notes, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. You may also be required to provide professional court testimony as necessary.


Benefits of Joining Our Team:
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, subject to family needs.
Sign-on bonus of $750, distributed as $250 after the first 90 days and $500 after 180 days.
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $18.50.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a minimum of three years of experience or training in child and family services.
- A valid driver's license in Pennsylvania with a clean driving record.
