Financial Insights Analyst

Position Summary
The Financial Insights Analyst will act as a crucial link among Technology, Finance, and Business divisions to streamline data transformation processes. This role will support financial planning and analysis activities concerning pricing strategies, profitability assessments, cash flow oversight, liquidity risk management, and interest rate risk evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine product-level pricing and profitability assessments.
- Create predictive models and machine-learning algorithms utilizing Scikit-learn and TensorFlow to address inquiries related to credit risk, profitability, and pricing strategies.
- Examine extensive datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Establish performance metrics to evaluate usage and profitability.
- Write SQL queries to organize data essential for machine learning applications.
- Validate data prepared for analysis by other Business Intelligence professionals.
- Complete assigned training within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Specialization or coursework in finance, data science, or machine learning is highly desirable.
- Relevant internship or project experience in finance, focusing on financial analysis and the application of machine learning techniques.
- Experience in data analysis, machine learning, or data science.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Programming skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Pandas are advantageous.
- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work at a computer for extended periods.
