We are seeking a highly skilled Media Technologies Evangelist to join our Worldwide Developer Relations team at Apple. As a key member of our Evangelism team, you will play a crucial role in helping 3rd-party developers create exceptional media and entertainment experiences on Apple devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with 3rd-party developers to design and develop full-stack media and entertainment apps, leveraging Apple technologies.
  • Consult with leading developers to optimize, modernize, and adopt key Apple technologies such as Low Latency HLS, Spatial Video, and Apple Immersive Video.
  • Lead hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers in adopting specific Apple technologies.
  • Work closely with Apple engineering teams to advocate for the requirements of 3rd-party developers and plan technical sessions for Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference and other developer activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Rich experience developing applications for Apple platforms.
  • Media industry experience providing audio and video solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP Live Streaming, FairPlay Protected Streaming, and related video playback technologies.
  • Expertise in encoding and packaging video using codecs such as MV-HEVC and HEVC.
  • Experience with Xcode, Swift, and SwiftUI.
  • Fundamental understanding of modern app development techniques.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven public speaking and presentation skills.
