Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Next Move Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate with patients using AIDET techniques to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure accurate results.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including radiation, drug, and infection control policies.
- Maintain and prepare equipment and work area, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
- Document all necessary patient information, including medical history and shielding precautions.
- Ensure proper record-keeping of medical imaging results in accordance with department policies.
- Serve as a preceptor, providing quality training to new team members.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures is preferred.
- Ability to take call, if required.
