The Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct is in search of a seasoned Nurse Manager (RN) to take on the 24-hour responsibility for ensuring excellence in both clinical and operational nursing practices, as well as the delivery of patient care within our esteemed Rehabilitation Services unit.

Our Rehabilitation Services department is dedicated to assisting patients in regaining their independence and enhancing their activity levels, guiding them back to optimal health. We are recognized as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, holding specialty accreditations in stroke recovery, brain injury rehabilitation, and limb loss management.

Our team of highly skilled healthcare professionals at the Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct is committed to rehabilitation, focusing on helping patients restore or enhance the skills necessary for daily living. Patients receive comprehensive nursing care, medical issues are addressed, and rehabilitation services are provided in our advanced facility. We are internationally acknowledged and accredited as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditations in stroke, brain injury, and amputation.

Qualifications:

  • Current DE RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN and a Master's degree or a Bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred experience in Rehabilitation nursing.
  • Nursing Professional certification in a relevant specialty is mandatory.
  • Nurse Executive certification is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all personnel levels within the unit.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Chief Nurse Officer/Director/Vice President of Patient Care Services.
