High-Pressure Die Casting Process Specialist

Ryobi Die Casting (USA), Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality die cast products, and we are seeking an experienced High-Pressure Die Casting Process Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled engineer with expertise in high-pressure die casting processes to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive production and program success. As a High-Pressure Die Casting Process Specialist, you will be responsible for providing assistance and direction to die cast teams, monitoring daily production, and carrying out troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and direct die cast teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.Monitor daily production and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Regularly collect data on die cast productivity, rejects, and machine efficiency.Provide engineering support to all areas of manufacturing by establishing optimum die casting parameters and conditions, implementing product design changes, developing process improvements, and providing engineered solutions to product and process problems.Develop and execute programs to improve productivity.Review customer rejects, implement actions to prevent reoccurrence, and meet with customers as necessary to resolve problems.Collect, review, and categorize customer rejects.Provide engineering support during die maintenance, modification, and maintenance, and maintain die drawings to ensure engineering revisions are reflected.Initiate and develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.Participate in 8D problem-solving.Support sales and quality assurance departments as required.Evaluate thermal imaging, X-ray images, and CMM reports.Establish and achieve management by objective (MBO) goals for assigned products.Assist in creating PFMEA, process flow, and control plans.Visit customer plants.Requirements:
To be successful as a High-Pressure Die Casting Process Specialist at Ryobi Die Casting, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).Three (3) years of experience in casting, particularly high-pressure casting (preferred).Tier 1 automotive experience (preferred).Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving in high-stress situations, are necessary.Knowledge of CAD, modeling, print interpretations, and dimensional evaluations required.Ability to operate a computer and its basic programs and various software, such as Microsoft Office and CAD programs.What We Offer:
