Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton's Mission Systems division is seeking a Production Engineer to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing technology and processes at our Davenport, IA facility.
This role is responsible for setting up and improving the manufacturing processing for the Body Fuel Tank Program.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in an Engineering field or 3 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing assigned Manufacturing Engineering assignments with general direction and considerable discretion
- Evaluating the manufacturability of parts and assemblies and suggesting improvements
- Developing and documenting production and assembly processes
- Providing training and technical support to hourly personnel for new processes
- Analyzing and refining existing processes that do not consistently yield acceptable results
- May participate on various teams for design review, configuration control, process improvement, etc.
Preferred qualifications include 3 years' experience troubleshooting and analyzing problems, 1 year experience using MS Office Products, strong communication skills, and ability to work in an office, lab, shop floor, and indoor industrial environment.
