Job Summary:
Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Charge Day Shift to join our team. As a RN Charge Day Shift, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of care by providing direct care and supervising the care given by CNAs, LVNs, RNs, and support staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams about changes in patients' clinical conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and interact professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with residents, patients, staff, the general public, and governmental agency representatives.
Requirements:
- Current California RN license with a minimum of two years of prior experience in a long-term care facility.
- Working knowledge of Title 22, OBRA, and other regulations.
- Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Must pass nursing medical tests and have current BLS certification.
