About the Position

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Associates at our Residential Treatment Homes and Residential Treatment Facilities in Wilsonville and Milwaukie, Oregon.

As a Mental Health Associate, you will work as a member of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness, supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, and providing housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with serious mental illness
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with meal planning
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
  • Ability to work as a member of a direct care team and provide support to individuals with serious mental illness
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as applicable
