Temple Cleaner

This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position.

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs to prevent equipment failure and maintain optimal facility conditions.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• A cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless facility operations.

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Removes stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
• Gathers and empties trash, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
• Cleans glass doors and other surfaces to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Keeps the janitor's closet neat and orderly, maintaining equipment in good working order.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned to ensure seamless facility operations.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required, with on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
