We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Host to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Deli Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and stocked deli area, and preparing deli products according to company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general customer service duties, including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
- Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
- Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
