Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Medical Solutions. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound technology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Performing diagnostic general radiological procedures using various imaging equipment
  • Selecting proper sonography protocols and techniques to obtain optimal data
  • Reviewing cases with the radiologist when appropriate
  • Reviewing labs and patient history to perform correct exam
  • Responsible to review radiology orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Reviews patient history and supporting clinical data for medical necessity
  • Takes steps to acquire additional information if needed from the patient, ordering provider and/or Radiologist
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography
  • Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
