Music Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Music Educator to join our team at Horry County Schools. As an Elementary School Music Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the music program to address the learning needs of students.

1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote active learning experiences for students.
2. Establish clear objectives for all learning activities and provide regular feedback to students.
3. Instruct and monitor students in the use of various learning materials and equipment.
4. Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the total school program.

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university.
• Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in the field of Music.
• Sufficiently mobile to ensure the safety of students.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 based on experience and education level. Horry County Schools offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
