Logistics Coordinator

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization. This position is responsible for coordinating the receipt, inspection, and recording of shipments, as well as preparing products for shipping.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, and project management staff to ensure accurate delivery schedules.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and manage returns and damages.
• Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments and ensuring replacements are ordered and shipped in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control in Fishbowl.
• Work with production and project management staff to schedule pick-ups from factories and customers.
• Prepare outbound freight paperwork and communicate with team members to ensure a seamless shipping process.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 2-3 years of warehouse experience or construction industry preferred.
• Confident judgment and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with inventory software.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
