Department Overview

Our technicians provide television and smart home solutions to countless customers. As a technician, you will receive training to champion a superior customer experience, helping to connect and educate homeowners during each visit. You are integral to our success, ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized: in 2023, DISH received the J.D. Power award for #1 in Overall Customer Satisfaction for the sixth consecutive year.

Our greatest asset is opportunity, with over 400 of our current technician leaders having started in technician roles. If you possess determination and resilience, you will advance quickly at DISH. Performance-based promotions include a guaranteed 5% pay increase at level 2 and 10% at levels 3 and 4.

Your Role:

As a Field Technician, you will represent DISH in customers' homes on a daily basis. We enhance our value by simplifying lives and using the DISH installation to guide homeowners through their endless smart home possibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

All technicians must possess:

  • The ability to build rapport quickly, ensuring a positive experience for our clients
  • Capability to work on high ladders (up to 40 feet) for extended periods, lift over 70 lbs, and adhere to individual weight limits of 335 lbs
  • Flexibility to navigate small spaces and adapt to varying weather conditions
  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment with a driving record that meets DISH's safety standards
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Compensation

Hourly rate: $24.25

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record. Compensation may reflect a combination of hourly pay rate and location pay differential.
