We are seeking a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner for our Burlington area location. The successful candidate will provide psychiatric treatment services to individuals and families, focusing on health promotion, client education, and empowering clients to take responsibility for their own well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient clinical services, considering environmental, social, psychological, and medical factors that influence health.
  • Assess, diagnose, and prescribe medications as needed, referring to other resources when appropriate.
  • Offer psychotherapy, symptom management, and treatment for acute and sub-acute situations.
  • Provide guidance and advice to team members regarding clients and treatment plans.
  • Participate in peer review and supervision as required.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of the treatment program by identifying community health needs and working with the team to develop evaluation methods.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all clients.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis for administration, planning, and evaluation.
  • Be available for consultation during off-hours and participate in on-call rotations as per contract arrangements.
  • Set a positive example in attitude, language, appearance, and health habits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current license with the Iowa Board of Nursing.
  • Certification with the US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration for Controlled Substance Registration.
  • ANCC Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
  • Certification with the State of Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners for Certificate of Registration Iowa Controlled Substance Act.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive to multiple service settings within a 75-mile radius.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
