Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to join our team at Executive Recruiting Consultants. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of plumbing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Work closely with Project Managers and Foremen to coordinate and direct construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project documents.
  • Trade Coordination: Attend on-site meetings with primary contractors and subcontractors to facilitate communication and minimize conflicts.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and direct employees to achieve aggressive production goals, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and cooperation.
  • Design and Layout: Design and layout work to ensure efficient and effective installation of plumbing and piping systems.
  • Work Planning: Develop and follow work lists to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly and installation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all assigned tasks are completed quickly, completely, and consistently with quality standards set by the company.
  • Physical Demands: Perform heavy lifting, carrying, and operation of tools and equipment up to 100 lbs.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, storing materials to minimize damage and risk of injury.
  • Tool Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Adaptability: Adapt quickly to changes and work effectively with other contractors on job sites.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Instruction Following: Ability to follow instructions and company policies.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of plumbing and heating trade.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work on ladders and high places, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Customer Service: Good customer service skills and ability to work with other contractors.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Tool Ownership: Must provide own hand tools.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in plumbing and heating trade.
  • Licenses: Must possess and maintain current state and city plumbing licenses.
  • Certifications: Med Gas certification preferred.
