Entertainment Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Entertainment Carpenter Technician to join our team at Carowinds. As a key member of our Live Entertainment Department, you will be responsible for building, setting up, operating, and tearing down our live shows and events.

• Read, understand, and implement plans and blueprints to translate designer concepts into functional builds.
• Assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal supervision.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles.
• Work individually or in a team setting to achieve project goals.

• Previous experience in a fully equipped theater or similar setting.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Good judgment and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
