Compensation: NEW PAY RATE $14.75 / hour

Employment Type: Full or Part Time

The House Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by utilizing strong organizational and communication skills. This position supports the housekeeping team in ensuring that guest accommodations are impeccably maintained and inviting, fostering a sense of value for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate stock levels in the storeroom upon arrival and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Assist Room Attendants by removing used linens and trash.
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and making beds as required.
  • Transport soiled linens from vacated rooms to the laundry department.
  • Deliver fresh bath and bed linens from the laundry to storerooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storerooms at all times.
  • Provide irons, ironing boards, rollaway beds, cribs, and other items to guest rooms upon request.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Collect and return any previously used guest requests found in rooms or hallways to storage.
  • Communicate with management regarding any special requests or additional duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to climb multiple flights of stairs daily and walk frequently.
  • Able to work with chemicals according to safety guidelines.
