KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - essential functions of the role

  • Evaluate patient capabilities and their ability to engage in activities that impact health and well-being
  • Select appropriate rehabilitation treatment models, methods, and approaches for interventions
  • Implement interventions to enhance safety and performance in daily living activities
  • Instruct patients on new strategies for task completion and educate them on breaking down activities into manageable steps
  • Assess patient environments to recommend modifications suited to their needs and abilities
  • Advise on adaptive equipment and provide training on its use
  • Guide and educate family members and caregivers as necessary
  • Monitor, document, and report on the progress of treatment goals

QUALIFICATIONS - we recognize your expertise

  • Current rehabilitation specialist license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse personalities
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Clearance from criminal background check/fingerprint check
  • Negative TB test result
  • Current CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - to empower others

This position requires significant physical effort throughout the day, including kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, and assisting in lifting and/or transferring patients weighing up to 100 pounds. Must possess adequate sight/hearing capabilities or utilize appropriate adaptive devices to perform essential duties.


MENTAL DEMANDS - your education matters

Must be capable of working independently, making informed judgments based on assessments and available data, and acting accordingly. Flexibility, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to manage mental and emotional stress while demonstrating emotional resilience.


WORK ENVIRONMENT - enjoy your surroundings

This role involves working indoors in an office setting and in patient homes or care facilities; travel to and from patient locations is required.

Sign-On Incentive: The first $6,000 is paid with the initial paycheck, and the remaining $6,000 is disbursed after six months, contingent upon a two-year commitment.
