Job Summary

The Night Audit position at Maumee Bay Lodge is a full-time role that primarily involves handling accounting and front desk duties during the overnight shift. This role requires attention to detail, accounting skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and reconcile any discrepancies for all venues, including retail, banquets, restaurant, snack bar, lounge, and golf.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily reports, including revenue and occupancy reports.
  • Guest Services: Respond to guest inquiries overnight and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Check guests in and out, process payments, and make reservations as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, organizing, and maintaining records.
  • Security: Monitor hotel security and report any suspicious activity or incidents.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in hotel front desk or night auditor role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer skills.
  • Previous Hotel/Restaurant POS system experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
