The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and minor maintenance duties, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have one year of general work experience, including some experience in custodial work. They should also have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

  1. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
  2. Oversee temporary employees and provide guidance and support as required
  3. Participate in thorough cleaning and restoration of facilities during off-peak periods

In addition to these duties, the Maintenance and Cleaning Specialist will ensure that all facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard, and will provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
