Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Quality Assurance: Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services and clinical programs that meet the needs of our clients.
- Medical Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff, to ensure that they are providing excellent care to our clients.
- Clinical Services: Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, as well as medication management and other medical interventions.
- Program Development: Develop and implement clinical programs and services that are aligned with the needs of our clients and the goals of our organization.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all medical services and clinical programs are delivered in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, and that risks are identified and mitigated.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that medical services and clinical programs are integrated with other aspects of our organization, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Education and Licensure: Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) and current licensure to practice medicine in the state where the facility operates.
- Experience: At least one year of post-graduate experience in a medical leadership role, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Certifications and Credentials: Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification in a behavioral health specialty, and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
