Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN/LVN to provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting. As a Travel LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver basic nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Assist with patient hygiene, such as bathing and dressing, and help patients with activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current LPN/LVN license.
  • Experience working in a Med Surg setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights.
