Maintenance Technician Job Description

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the repair of woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Order supplies and parts as required to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
