Job Description

eVigilant is committed to delivering innovative security solutions that protect the critical infrastructure of our federal, state & local, and commercial customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Management Technologist - Cyber Security Focus to join our team in Savannah, GA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dedicated Tier 2 Functional Customer Support for our DoD customer located at Hunter Army Airfield. This role will involve liaising between current Cadet Command 6th Brigade headquarters, G6 Directorate, other field offices, and service providers to provide onsite, remotely, over the phone and/or via email Tier 2 Application helpdesk support for all current and future Cadet Command applications.

About the Job

  • Provide technical analysis of Information Technology (IT) Purchase Requests.
  • Support technical analyses of current and future Information Technology (IT) Purchase Requests to ensure compatibility with established government specifications.
  • Monitor support ticketing and reporting systems; report trends of degraded services and support to brigade IT leadership and G6 leadership.
  • Support the analysis of the IT/IM architecture impacting dynamic network access and services to USACC soldiers, civilians, contractors, and partners at all USACC locations.
  • Conduct analysis, refinement and modernization of USACC IT/IM system(s) that support Command and Control, education/training, and distribution and delivery.
  • User Account management.
  • Brigade classroom and conference room support.
  • Monitoring and tracking C4IM training and compliance.
  • Update and maintain software application roles and account access.
  • Coordination of actions to resolve cyber‐attacks/incidents on command assets with external and subordinate organizations.

Requirements

  • A United States (US) Citizen.
  • Able to pass a comprehensive background check, inclusive of drug screening.
  • Reside within a commutable distance of Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA to work onsite full time.
  • Maintain at least one of the following certifications to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
  • Bachelor's Degree or One to two+ years of experience in a related field may be substituted for the degree.
  • Willingness to travel if/when needed to other customer locations within the United States (U.S.) and to U.S. territories (approximately 10%).
