Atrium Staffing is seeking a skilled Chemist I to join our client's QC department in a family-owned chemicals company. This role involves performing wet chemistry and analytical tests on finished products and raw materials.

• Conduct wet chemistry testing on products, including pH, SO3, hydroxyl value, and viscosity.
• Operate lab instruments, such as FTIR and Karl Fischer titrators.
• Identify non-conformances and report to the appropriate supervisor.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate test results in the company's system.
• Adhere to all company guidelines.

• Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques.
• 2+ years of related industry experience.
• Strong FTIR experience.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working with chemicals.
• Able to work Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
