Health Advocates Network is seeking a skilled LPN Charge Nurse to join our team in a Long Term Care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assist with formulating a plan of care for residents in the Long Term Care area.
- Provide nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations.
- Update plan of care as needed and observe and document resident observations and care given.
- Use the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accurately and respond promptly to resident call lights.
- Direct and assist with resident, family, and significant other education and notify family on condition changes.
- Handle linens properly and dispose of soiled linens, clothing, or supplies in adherence to regulations and guidelines.
- Use standard precautions by using personal protective equipment and observe transmission guidelines.
- Report and assure timely follow-up of signs and symptoms of resident infections.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Prior work experience in a like or related position may be helpful.
- Licensure for the state of practice is required.
- BLS certification.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Frequency of travel may vary based on business need.
Weight Lifting Requirement: 35 lbs.
BLS from American Heart Association.
