Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Telemetry Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and coordinating all unit functions during assigned shifts. Collaborating with the management team, the leader directs and evaluates nursing care in line with established policies, serving as a resource for staff and exemplifying the organization's mission and values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and quality care.
  • Engaging in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fostering teamwork among staff to enhance service and outcomes.
  • Upholding a patient-first philosophy and addressing service recovery when necessary.
  • Supporting facility engagement initiatives through nursing strategies.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff.
  • Managing staff schedules and ensuring labor aligns with patient care needs.
  • Overseeing inventory control and supply management.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
