MRI Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body.
- Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards.
- Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI.
- Six months of MRI technologist experience.
