Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each patient, and provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in their homes, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and language development.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor patient progress, and document treatment outcomes and recommendations for future care.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and language skills, and provide ongoing support and guidance to promote optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology: Have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Be able to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
