About the Role

The Project Engineer III Lead will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities on complex projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards. As a key member of our project team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all engineering activities to complete project design in compliance with project schedule and budget;
  • Meet or improve project schedule and budget through efficient planning and execution;
  • Identify and submit cost-effective improvements in design;
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project goals;
  • Provide technical support to clients as needed, under guidance from project managers;
  • Participate in regular design review meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives;
  • Develop and implement risk assessment strategies to mitigate potential project risks;
  • Support site managers and subcontractors with technical queries related to project design;
  • Communicate project status, progress, and any issues requiring upper-level management attention to the Project Engineering Leader;

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent;
  • 2-15 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the industrial plant business;
  • Excellent understanding of contract specifications, supply limits, and national/international regulations for waste treatment, renewable energy, and biogas plants;
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders;
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to desired quality standards;
  • Familiarity with project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate project risks;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, as required;

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $150,000, based on experience and qualifications. This role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment.
