Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team at DataDirect Networks Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in software development, design, and implementation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining software applications for Linux, with a focus on C/C++ and Python. They will also have a deep understanding of file protocols such as NFS and SMB, as well as Linux/Unix OS internals.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and unit testing production-quality software for our storage products. You will work closely with our team to develop and maintain our software applications, and will be expected to contribute to the company's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software applications for Linux
  • Develop and maintain software applications using C/C++ and Python
  • Deep understanding of file protocols such as NFS and SMB

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of industry experience in software development

Interview Process:

Our interview process typically consists of four technical interviews, including a coding assessment, systems design, systems hands-on, and project deep-dive. We also offer a meet and greet with the wider team.
