Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the MAT program. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a strong passion for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Medical Examinations: Conduct thorough medical examinations of referred patients, adhering to clinic treatment policies and state regulations.
- Treatment Plans: Provide guidance and training to medical staff, participate in case conferences, and collaborate with clinic personnel on treatment plans.
- Clinical Support: Respond promptly to health emergencies, review records as necessary, and utilize available resources for problem resolution.
- Patient Care: Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, to diagnose opioid dependence and coexisting medical or psychiatric disorders, making appropriate referrals for further treatment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience: 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner and Medication Assistance Treatment experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment and current CPR certification.
