Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Wanted for School-Aged Children

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide outstanding virtual speech and language services to school-aged children. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication barriers and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students using your expertise and professional judgment.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, taking into account their background, learning style, and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Conduct screenings to identify students who require further evaluation, utilizing your knowledge and skills to make informed decisions.
- Train and provide resources to teachers and staff on speech and language development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and create comprehensive educational plans that address their unique needs.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A valid Minnesota Teaching Certification, which is required for this position.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students who have communication disorders, with a strong track record of success.
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- A fast and reliable computer and internet connection, with no Chromebooks or tablets permitted.
