Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for the hotel, which includes systems such as refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel’s physical condition, documenting findings and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address maintenance and repair needs.
  • Manage inventory and ensure timely completion of work assignments.
  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system management.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Interpret specifications and company policies for maintenance staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Supervise and motivate maintenance personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in safety meetings and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in maintenance operations and equipment.
  • Remain vigilant for any suspicious activities and report as necessary.
  • Assist guests and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage all life safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily conducted indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions and potential hazards.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
