Hospice Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice RN to join our team at Tabitha. As a Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time (30+ hours per week) position working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with limited weekend rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing hospice care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and Federal regulations and laws.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families to determine hospice needs.
- Provide professional nursing care utilizing all elements of the nursing process.
- Assess and evaluate patient status by regularly re-evaluating patient and family needs.
- Participate in revising the plan of care as necessary.
- RN License in good standing as recorded on the Nebraska State Registry or other Nurse Compact state required.
- Two years of acute care/long term care nursing experience within the last five years required.
- Experience in community health and/or hospice preferred.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
