Employment Type: Direct Hire

As the Engineering Manager specializing in Transmission Lines, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a diverse team of engineering professionals
  • Ensuring the quality of designs, adherence to budget, and project timelines
  • Facilitating client interactions, proposal development, and business growth initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards across various engineering disciplines.
- Manage project modifications in direct collaboration with clients and the Project Manager.
- Review and assess engineering work and assignments from junior engineers.

- Coordinate activities across multiple engineering disciplines and may act as the engineer of record for designated projects.
- Foster strong working relationships with project leaders, design teams, and support personnel.
- Provide assistance in business development and pursuit activities.
- This role may require occasional travel for site visits, design evaluations, and client consultations.
- Consistently apply expertise and knowledge in a proactive manner.


Minimum Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of high voltage overhead transmission lines, with a solid understanding of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and the overall project lifecycle.
