About the Role

This position provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with our teaching staff, supporting them with various duties and tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

You will be responsible for assisting teachers with grading, monitoring recess and lunchtime, and working with individual students or small groups. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with teachers about student performance and demonstrate a high level of initiative and responsibility.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Willngness to be CPR certified and learn basic first aid skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings

This is an estimated salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
