OptumServe Consulting (OSC) and The Lewin Group (Lewin) are premier national healthcare and human services consulting and policy analysis firms. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Medicaid and CHIP claims
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify fraud, waste, and abuse in government health programs
  • Lead and mentor junior analysts in meeting project timelines
  • Develop creative and innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges
  • Improve existing project deliverables and perform ad hoc analyses based on client need
  • Manage time effectively across multiple projects or tasks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university
  • 3+ years of experience with project or task management
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing medical claims data with SAS
  • Experience working with Medicaid and CHIP programs
  • Academic and/or work experience in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and project management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree from an accredited college/university in mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, economics, computer science, data science, epidemiology, or other quantitative fields
  • Knowledge of the Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) program or other improper payment measurements
  • Experience working in the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) or using T-MSIS data
  • Experience using other software for data analysis, such as Python, R, or Tableau
