Role Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and oral care. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and ambulation.
- Support registered nurses in delivering basic nursing care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs using both manual and mechanical methods.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid California Nursing Assistant Certification upon hire.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred:
- Experience in an acute care environment.
- At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant in either acute or long-term care settings.
