About the Job
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including assisted living facilities (ALFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute care environments. Our unique staffing model allows you to choose the shifts that fit your lifestyle, giving you the flexibility to balance your work and personal responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the nursing team to any concerns
- Check vital signs, such as temperature and blood pressure, and report any abnormal events to supervising staff
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and helping to clean residents' rooms
- Transport residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their loved ones
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals, residents, and their families
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing care procedures
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
