Schedule: Early Morning Shifts
The Fitness Center Attendant is essential in providing an outstanding experience for members and staff by offering exceptional service and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the fitness environment. While a background in fitness is beneficial, the primary focus is on maintaining hygiene and enhancing member satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:- Experience in fitness environments or customer service roles
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Completion of CORI/SORI background checks
- Certification in personal training from NCCA or an equivalent body
- Engage effectively with members and staff through verbal and physical communication.
- Utilize cleaning supplies and wear protective gear as needed.
- Navigate the fitness center with ease.
- Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comprehend and comply with all facility regulations.
- Greet members, assist with equipment usage, and convey guidelines regarding usage, social distancing, masks, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure cleanliness by providing sufficient cleaning supplies and sanitizing equipment after each use.
- Oversee capacity, manage traffic flow, and implement distancing protocols, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Inform members in advance of session end times.
- Execute the Emergency Response Plan when necessary and report incidents to management.
- Document concerns and facility maintenance issues at the conclusion of each shift.
- Be available for flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
